Tools I'd point anyone at who edits video with AI agents, starting with Earshot, which lets coding agents hear, judge and make sound.

A running list of tools that make editing video with AI agents better. I'll add to it as I find more.

Earshot

Earshot by Leon Lin gives coding agents ears. Agents like Claude Code can already build a whole launch video in code, but they can't hear what they made, so the sound effects come out sloppy. Earshot fixes that.

It lets an agent describe what a sound file sounds like, check whether it matches a description, find the best moment in a long recording, and score a finished video's sound against professional launch films with timestamped fixes. It can also make new sounds in code and improve them by listening, and as of v0.2 it can turn a recording into code the agent can tweak.

It's open source, runs locally on your CPU, and works as an MCP server for Claude Code. Every sound in its launch video was made with code.
