Give Your GrokBot an Email and a Credit Card
Set up a GrokBot with its own inbox through AgentMail, wake it up the moment an email lands, and let it buy things with Link by Stripe while you approve every charge.
GrokBot is SpaceXAI's general agent platform. It lets you create a team of agents (or bots) very easily.
In this guide we give a GrokBot its own email address, wire a webhook so every email it receives triggers it to act, and connect Link by Stripe so it can buy things on its own.
Create the bot
Create a new bot and tell it its name and its job. That is the whole setup. It renames itself, writes its own description, and shows up on your team. Pin it to the top.
You are Jimmy, an executive assistant for [company name]. You will have an email address, and you will buy things for the office when people ask you. People at the company can message you to buy things. That is your main job.
Give it an email with AgentMail
Email comes from a plugin called AgentMail. Ask the bot to set it up, and it sends you a connect card.
Click Allow, create your AgentMail account, and tell the bot it is complete.
- Ask the bot what its address should be and for a link to the AgentMail dashboard.
- Mine became jimmy-bot@agentmail.to.
- Tell it to put the address in its own description so it never forgets it.
- Test it. Send an email from your own account to the bot's address, then ask the bot whether it has any new mail. It should read the message back to you.
